John has been drawing since he can remember. He grew up reading illustrated 
publications like MAD magazine, Heavy Metal, Epic, and his dad's under ground 
comics. He loved fantasy art and comic books. In high school he decided to start 
his own comic based on his friends and high school adventures called "Dave? comics".
It was very popular in the local scene but as he grew older it lost it meaning. His 
friends became married and he lost touch with his source material so it died. It was 
several years later that John decided to try again with this comic "Next Door". It 
is not based on anybody. Just his imagination mixed with real life events.
