Hello out there, how are you? As mentioned in a previous post, I am compiling a weekly Newsletter that will be emailed out to you my faithful readers. To help make sure you don't miss out on a single episode of Next Door.
Also if you'll notice on the far right of the menu bar I have added a forums tab. I encourage you to use it and get to know the other Next Door readers. We can create our own wacky little community. You can post pictures of your pets, or your favorite costplay outfit. What ever you like. You can talk about Next Door or things in your life’s I don’t care just have fun.

It has come to my attention that not everybody checks there facebook page or twitter on a weekly basis. And that sometimes you forget to read my webcomic on Mondays. So it was suggested that I start an email newsletter. That way you can get the latest strips, updated news, and maybe sketches, and other items right to your inbox. If you are interested send your email address to john@nextdoorcomics.com
You can unsubscribe at anytime.
Also I have added a Next Door Merchandise tab. This will be were you can purchase t-shirts and other goodies as I come up with them. I will announce when it goes live.

As I am scripting out the next story arc, and thinking of other stories I want to tell, I realize how long it takes to tell a story in a weekly installment. I would like to go to two strips a week. But I get nervous with the crazy hour I have been putting in at my day job to commit to it. What do you think? Would it make you happier? Let me know, it might help me jump off the ledge.

I have the best readers ever! ND's readership is growing dramatically, and I have you to thank. If you have noticed recently, I am working hard to take this strip into a more story driven, yet still funny direction. I have a lot of characters, some who haven't seen the light of day. So I'm working on introducing them. I am also working at making the art work better. I look at some of the outstanding art of some of the other strips out there and it makes me want to push myself to get to that level. I don't know about you but, I am personally happy the girls cut off Zak’s hair. It was really starting to bug me to the point I didn't want to draw him any more.
If you have clicked on the top 100 button I am appreciative. If not please do so. I would like to see this site climb up and get noticed. You can click it once a day. Sorry I called you a monkey. I just get exited about making this the best webcomic ever.
Thanks again for your support and tell your friends about Next Door.
Thanks,
John
P.S. If you have any suggestions or ideas I would love to hear them. Send me an email john@nextdoorcomics.com or leave a comment above.
I hope your enjoying the strip. See you next Monday.
